Women in Science and Engineering
13th March 2021 @ 11:30 – 12:30
As part of British Science and Engineers Week, we are happy to be hosting an online talk and workshop by Catrin Rutland. We will be exploring innovations by women through history and what is happening in the world of science and engineering today… thinking about what makes a good scientist?
This event is specifically aimed at children aged between 7 – 13, with lots of engagement opportunities throughout. So if you are looking for some support home-schooling this March, we would love for you to join us and get younger generations excited about the history and future of science.
Catrin is an associate professor of anatomy and developmental genetics and British Science Association Media Fellow. She has published many scientific papers and written a range of popular science books and science fiction writer. Catrin Sian Rutland Author – Catrin Rutland Author (weebly.com)
