Join Our Team At The Gasworks Sudbury
Thanks to the National Lottery Heritage Fund we have a new opportunity for a dynamic and driven Business Development and Operations Manager to join our team at a very exciting time. This is a full time, permanent employed position.
Our capital works project, to rescue and restore the Grade II listed Sudbury Gasworks building, is due to complete at the end of March 2023. The building is expected to open to the public as space for the local community by May 2023. We would like to appoint someone who will be responsible for the management, promotion, and development of this new, unique, and vibrant heritage venue.
What you’ll be doing
As Business Development and Operations Manager, you will be leading the strategic delivery and development of our business plans. You’ll have overall responsibility for the generation of earned income and will build support for this throughout the organisation.
You will do this within the context of Sudbury Gasworks Restoration Trust’s remit and charitable purpose, which is to provide a community facility for Sudbury parish.
You will line manage a small team and work closely with with the part-time Gasworks Manager, who is responsible for the day-to-day management of the site.
You will be the nominated official contact for weddings and other high-profile events; leading on the bookings, co-ordination, and invoicing associated with such activity.
